AS Roma Together for Nepal Jersey – Special Edition Champions League Tribute Shirt | WFP Nepal Relief Football Fanwear

The AS Roma Together for Nepal Jersey is a meaningful special-edition football shirt created for Roma’s UEFA Champions League fixture against Fenerbahce in Istanbul. The shirt features the World Food Programme (WFP) branding alongside the “Together for Nepal” message and Nepalese flag, transforming the match jersey into a tribute to humanitarian relief efforts.

Designed around one of Roma’s most distinctive Champions League moments, this tribute shirt combines classic Giallorossi football identity with a powerful message of solidarity. The match-worn shirts were announced for auction, with proceeds directed toward WFP relief efforts in Nepal.

The Story Behind the Design

AS Roma partnered with the United Nations World Food Programme for its Champions League trip to Fenerbahce on September 10, 2026. Due to Turkish regulations preventing Roma’s regular betting sponsor from appearing on the shirt, the club used the opportunity to highlight the humanitarian emergency in Nepal instead.

The special shirt replaces the regular sponsor presentation with the WFP logo and “Together for Nepal” appeal, accompanied by the Nepal flag. The initiative gives a significant European football fixture a broader message of support and awareness.

Meaning & Symbolism

The “Together for Nepal” message represents solidarity with communities affected by devastating floods and landslides in Nepal. By placing the WFP identity prominently on the shirt, Roma helped direct international attention toward humanitarian assistance and emergency relief.

For football collectors, the design represents more than a match shirt—it captures a unique Champions League occasion where sport and humanitarian support came together.
